The four-track record takes its title from the Kuwaiti Arabic femme slang for "dirty old man"

Fatima Al Qadiri is back with a new EP for Hyperdub, titled 3TWI (عتوي).
Comprised of four tracks, the title is derived from a Kuwaiti Arabic femme slang term to mean "dirty old man". It features guest contributions from longtime friends and collaborators Bobo Secret, Lama3an and Gumar, and pays musical homage to West Asian folk dance music.
To mark the record's announcement, Al Qadiri has shared lead track '7ilween', which translates to "pretty young things". The song comes backed by a video directed by Sophia Al-Maria, which can be watched below. A press release notes that the visual nods to popular Iraqi dance...
