The seven-track LP is out in November

Donato Dozzy has a new album on the way for Tresor, titled Astro.
Marking the Italian artist's second full-length release of 2026, after his collaborative LP with Batu, Exhale, came out in June, this new LP takes in seven tracks. It's said to be inspired by Jumbo Machinders cartoons, which were based around Japanese robot action figures and were popular in Italy during Dozzy's childhood.
Every episode of the cartoon was dubbed into Italian, and had its own specially written Italian theme song, which was pressed onto 7-inch vinyl. Last year, Dozzy took a sample from the first of the themes he ever owned, Astro Robot Contatto Ypsylon, and it appears on Astro's...
