It appears on a new retrospective compilation of Mogwai's work, celebrating 30 years of the band

Mogwai have teamed up with Iggy Pop for a new track, 'Underground'.

The track's release comes alongside news of a new retrospective compilation celebrating 30 years of Mogwai, called Happy Tears. It features highlights and rarities from across the band's discography, including a special new re-working of 'New Paths To Helicon 1', featuring the Budapest Art Orchestra and orchestrated by Stars Of The Lid's Adam Wiltzie.

The compilation will be released digitally, as well as in 2xLP, 4xLP and 2xCD editions. The 4xLP and 2xCD editions feature 13 additional tracks. Six of them are previously unreleased, while others encompass remixes, live cuts and rarities.
